Cricut Cake

Oh my goodness, I am in love.... I love to bake and decorate things. So when my mom told me about this new thing called the Cricut Cake, I knew I just had to have one...It uses all of the cartridges from the regular cricut, but it is made for food. It cuts sheets of fondant, frosting, gum paste, even cookies!
This brings me to the reason for the post. The lovely ladies at Cuttlebug are doing a giveaway for one of these little beauties. I am trying to win one!

Jonny and I made a cake recently, and these pictures just go to show that we would really use a Cricut Cake...

We rolled out the fondant and covered the cake

And put it on the pretty cake platter we got for our wedding..

Then came the decorating. It was pretty hard, but we managed with what we had!

It came out a little lumpy and awkward, but we loved it!

If I had a Cricut Cake though, this would have been a LOT easier :) Wish me luck!

Internship!

I probably brag about my husband too much, but what can I do? I just love to talk about him! He had an interview for an internship today. It's for the Human Resources department of the Center for Health, Home and Hospice (I think..). He wanted it really bad because he could easily see himself working HR someday. They were so impressed with him that they offered it to him on the spot! We are super excited.

In other news, I totally scored at the Shade sale today :)
